- We can provide the register in a variety of formats, including;
- TAP - Fixed width format
- EXT - Pipe separated variable format
- CSV - Comma delimited variable format
- DBF - DBASE 3
- Other formats upon request
How to Download
Manually “Click and Go”.
The data can be downloaded by clicking a link on the downloads area of our website.
Automatic HTTP
An automated HTTP request can be made within your own internal system to download the data.
- Requests are made as follows and should include these parameters ;
- username
- password
- datatype (permitted values are TAP,CSV,EXT,DBF)
- category (permitted values are FIRMS or INDIVIDUALS)

(in this example User 'Joe' with password 'Bloggs' requests firms data in TAP format)
FTP.
The data can be collected form our FTP Site.
Online Register Search
As well as providing these download facilities our website allows on-line interrogation of the FSA register. This allows searches on firms on a number of parameters, including ; FSA No, Company Name, Post Code, date of Authorisation Change, date added to the register and date permissions changed. If you have specific search requirements not included here we can make customise this facility to suit your needs.
